I had a different post related to this one which CatByte was kind enough to help me with. Unfortunately due to my delema I couldn't reply in time so it was taken down for inactivity. If you could get the same person (seeing as how they already have some knowldge om my issue) i would appreciate it !

So, after a couple days my computer settled down and then flared back up again. Somehow, Spyware guard managed to get back onto my hard-drive and create all sorts of havoc from, constant pop ups to not letting me use the internet at all. I think this was because of the same problem from before which was
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = http=localhost:7171
and that somehow popped up in the HiJack log even after I removed. Needless to say, I feel like Im almost back at stage 1 again… :smack:
Previously I was asked for a
MBAM Log
Kaspersky report
FreshHJT Log

So ill put them in them in here
Sorry for the inconvience of reposting, I'm really demoralized from this computer. Shouldve bought a MAC xD.

The scan was stopped by the user.

There was a lot of things to scan (I have two hard drives) so it didnt get everything, mainly because the pop up SVG situation got so out of hand that my computer pretty much started freezing so the stuff I could scan are shown above. Ill can try again if thats an insufficient amount of info.
Thank you!
Hi,

Lets, start this process again, your machine wasn't cleaned of all the malware in the prior thread, so please stay with me this time until I give you the All Clear. If you have to be away for any length of time please let me know and stay off the internet until we can get the machine comepletely clean and protected.

If you still have ComboFix on your machine - delete it and download a fresh copy…. we need to start again from scratch.

Download ComboFix from one of these locations:
Link 1
Link 2
Link 3

VERY IMPORTANT !!!
Save ComboFix.exe to your Desktop

* IMPORTANT - Disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our tools. If you have difficulty properly disabling your protective programs, refer to this link here
  • Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.
As part of it's process, ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed. With malware infections being as they are today, it's strongly recommended to have this pre-installed on your machine before doing any malware removal. It will allow you to boot up into a special recovery/repair mode that will allow us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware.

  • Follow the prompts to allow ComboFix to download and install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console, and when prompted, agree to the End-User License Agreement to install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console.
**Please note: If the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is already installed, ComboFix will continue it's malware removal procedures.

[external image: Posted Image]

  • Once the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed using ComboFix, you should see the following message:

[external image: Posted Image]
  • Click on Yes, to continue scanning for malware.
When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply.

Hi,

Please do the following:

  • Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before following the steps below.
  • They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".
Copy/paste the text inside the Codebox below into notepad:

Here's how to do that:
Click Start > Run type Notepad click OK.
This will open an empty notepad file:

Copy all the text inside of the code box - Press Ctrl+C (or right click on the highlighted section and choose 'copy')

Now paste the copied text into the open notepad - press CTRL+V (or right click and choose 'paste')

Save this file to your desktop, Save this as "CFScript"

Here's how to do that:

1.Click File;
2.Click Save As… Change the directory to your desktop;
3.Change the Save as type to "All Files";
4.Type in the file name: CFScript
5.Click Save …

[external image: Posted Image]
  • Referring to the screenshot above, drag CFScript.txt into ComboFix.exe.
  • ComboFix will now run a scan on your system. It may reboot your system when it finishes. This is normal.
  • When finished, it shall produce a log for you.
  • Copy and paste the contents of the log in your next reply.
CAUTION: Do not mouse-click ComboFix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.
Im really sorry, my computer is having some issues in it that needs to be fixed (hardwire wise) and Im getting a new keyboard/mouse for it. Should be in real soon and once that happens ill reply to this ASAP. thank you!
 OK, thanks for letting me know… were you able to run the above script?… Stay with me if you can, or your machine will remain infected…there's more work to do.
sorry about all that. i should be fine now. i looked into running the script and i kept getting the error:

"Were you trying to run CFScript?
The name, CFScript appears to be incorrectly spelt"

and it has an OK underneath it and when you press that Combo Fix just turns off and nothing happens.
So i dont want to screw around with anyone until i have you permission to do so. Also every now and then
my internet error with "R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = http=localhost:7171"comes back and i have to get rid of it thrugh hijack this like before. just throwing it out there for future refrences.

thanks again!
Hi
delete the version of combofix that you have, it's been a while since it ran,it's been updated a couple of times since then, download a fresh copy from one of the links provided.

Run combo-fix again - I will then write a new script based on the updated combofix log and we'll see if we can get it to run this time…I'll post the instructions here so you don't have to go hunting for them again.

just keep deleting that proxy in HJT as often as you need to, the script has the deletion of the driver that's keeping it alive, so we need to see if we can get ComboFix to run properly

Notes:
1. Do not mouse-click Combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.
2. Do not "re-run" Combofix. If you have a problem, reply back for further instructions.

Please make sure you include the combo fix log in your next reply as well as describe how your computer is running now

Folder::
c:\documents and settings\NetworkService\Application Data\asyjqkzv

FireFox::
FF - prefs.js: network.proxy.http_port - 7171
FF - prefs.js: network.proxy.type - 1

Now paste the copied text into the open notepad - press CTRL+V (or right click and choose 'paste')

Save this file to your desktop, Save this as "CFScript"

Here's how to do that:

1.Click File;
2.Click Save As… Change the directory to your desktop;
3.Change the Save as type to "All Files";

NEXT

Please download GooredFix from one of the locations below and save it to your Desktop
Download Mirror #1
Download Mirror #2
  • Double-click GooredFix.exe to run it.
  • Select 1. Find Goored (no fix) by typing 1 and pressing Enter.
  • A log will open, please post the contents of that log in your next reply (it can also be found on your desktop, called GooredLog.txt).Note: Do not run GooredFix option #2 yet

NEXT

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish, so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. <– very important
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.

Extra Note:If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process, if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

NEXT

Go to Kaspersky website and perform an online antivirus scan.
  • Read through the requirements and privacy statement and click on Accept button.
  • It will start downloading and installing the scanner and virus definitions. You will be prompted to install an application from Kaspersky. Click Run.
  • When the downloads have finished, click on Settings.
  • Make sure these boxes are checked (ticked). If they are not, please tick them and click on the Save button:
    • Spyware, Adware, Dialers, and other potentially dangerous programs
      Archives
      Mail databases
  • Click on My Computer under Scan.
  • Once the scan is complete, it will display the results. Click on View Scan Report.
  • You will see a list of infected items there. Click on Save Report As….
  • Save this report to a convenient place. Change the Files of type to Text file (.txt) before clicking on the Save button. Then post it here.

In your next reply please include
  • ComboFix Log
  • GooredFix Log
  • MBAM Log
  • Kaspersky report

This thing went for about 1 and a half and the only thing it found were the four threats in the beginning (withing 4 min or so). So I decided to stop it after it was 60% precent in. I didnt think it was necessary in it to go any further unless you think so otherwise (I have duel hard-drives so it might take me around 3 hrs to do a full scan)

-thank you!
Hope this helps

Eset Online Scanner

I couldn't run the scanner. Everytime I told it to install it would give me an error message asking if i wanted to Retry or Cancel and when I clicked Retry it would just sit there and not do anything. Not really sure what that's all about : / As for everything else, hope it was helpful.

-Thank you
Hi,

The OTM script didn't run properly, can you please try it again, there should have been a longer log produced. Make sure you copy all the text inside the code box without copying the word code.

The online scanner might not co-operate it ther is onboard antivirus running,

Try this tool instead:

Please click here to download AVP Tool by Kaspersky.
  • Save it to your desktop.
  • Reboot your computer into SafeMode.

You can do this by restarting your computer and continually tapping the F8 key until a menu appears.
Use your up arrow key to highlight SafeMode then hit enter
    .

  • Double click the setup file to run it.
  • Click Next to continue.
  • It will by default install it to your desktop folder. Click Next.
  • Hit OK at the prompt for scanning in Safe Mode.
  • It will then open a box. There will be a tab that says Automatic scan.
  • Under Automatic scan make sure these are checked.

  • System Memory
  • Startup Objects
  • Disk Boot Sectors.
  • My Computer.
  • Also any other drives (Removable that you may have)

  • Then click on Scan at the top right hand Corner.
  • It will automatically Neutralize any objects found.
  • If some objects are left unneutralized then click the button that says Neutralize all
  • If it says it cannot be Neutralized then choose the delete option when prompted.
  • After that is done click on the reports button at the bottom and save it to file, name it Kas.
  • Save it to your desktop and just post only the detected Virus\malware in the report it will be at the very top under Detected post those results in your next reply.

Note: This tool will self uninstall when you close it so please save the log before closing it.

Hi, Do you still need help with your machine, if the instructions aren't clear or you have other issues please advise. CB
