Recently (last couple days) my system has become painfully slow on the internet and games freezing then starting back up…(took a minute to install hijak this). Every time I click a file I get an hr glass or that flashlight thingy , May be hardware related but I wan't to make sure……I havn't installed any new apps in the last couple months.

I just figured the problem. my CPU usage is spiking from 0 - 100%…..still not sure if it's hardware or a malicious nasty.

Specs
xp sp3
amd55fx
geforce 7800gs
1 gig pc 3200

I use
kapersky internet suite
previx
malwarebytes
spyware blaster
ATF cleaner

Here's my Hijak this and mbam logs

I'm not really seeing anything. Let's try an online scan.
I need you to run the following scan: Eset Online Scanner

  • Place a check mark in the box YES, I accept the Terms Of Use
  • Click the Start button.
  • Now click the Install button.
  • Click Start. The scanner engine will initialize and update.
  • Do Not place a check mark in the box beside Remove found threats.
  • Click the Scan button. The scan will now run, please be patient.
  • When the scan finishes click the Details tab.
  • Copy and paste the contents of the C:\ProgramFiles\EsetOnlineScanner\log.txt into your next reply.
Tom, Thanks for the reply. i found my problem was a bad install of Previx 2.0. It was using up 100% of my CPU. Once I reinstalled it, everything was fine. Thanks for looking at my logs, I just wanted to make sure nothing else was causing the problem. sincerely, Rick
