Hi, I think the System look is not working. It just sits there saying its scaning, its not frozen, but I don't think its doing anything either. I let it sit like that for 2 hours. Do I need to be more paitent or is something wrong? Thanks

Hi meanween,

It may have hit something it can't handle. sorry about that, that scan should have been quick.

We'll disable that driver and see what we get. But first back up your registry.

Hi meanween, Did your antivirus or other program nab that file? It was there both in the RootReal log and the AVZ log. I'm going to go back over this thread. Do you have any of the logs from the tools you used prior to posting on this forum? Thanks
Hi, It seems we are getting closer, the computer stopped acting up after I rebooted it. I rebooted again and it started again. As an experiment I reloaded five times and three of the times the issues came back. Thanks
Hi, I haven't run anything except what you've told me to since I started this thread. So I don't think my anti-virus got it , but I'll check the logs. Thanks
Hi again, After you run RootRepeal, please run combofix. Something may have gotten shook loose with that driver out of the way. Thanks
