ok fellas, here is brief description of what is going on:
- Dsl download speed rapidly fluctuates..
- When I search something on google.com, it says it looks like request from automated bot or something.
- Firefox’s (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.7) Gecko/2009021910 Firefox/3.0.7 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)) cpu usage also fluctuates rapidly to like 80% of cpu usage. Constant short ( 1 or 2 seconds) freezes every 10 to 20 seconds, very annoying when you are watching videos on youtube or other video sites.
- utorrent crashes everytime after a few minutes later I start it. I’m very sure there is some bad ware that AVG can’t detect at this point somehow.
- Windows security center says AVG anti-virus free (8.0.238) reports that it is turned off even though it is on.. I'm guessing that there is some bad ware that AVG can’t detect at this point somehow.
aight here is the log file..

thx in advance guys
Hi meegii13,
My name is
Tomk . I would be glad to take a look at your log and help you with solving any malware problems. HijackThis logs can take a while to research, so please be patient and I'd be grateful if you would note the following:
I will be working on your Malware issues, this may or may not, solve other issues you have with your machine. The fixes are specific to your problem and should only be used for the issues on this machine. Please continue to review my answers until I tell you your machine appears to be clear. Absence of symptoms does not mean that everything is clear. It's often worth reading through these instructions and printing them for ease of reference. If you don't know or understand something, please don't hesitate to say or ask!! It's better to be sure and safe than sorry. Please reply to this thread. Do not start a new topic.
utorrent
You have utorrent, a P2P/file sharing programs installed on your computer. P2P applications like it are the largest source of malware we see. You'll be doing yourself a favor by removing it.
References for the risk of these programs can be found in these links:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/commun…protection.mspx
http://www.techweb.com/wire/160500554
http://www.internetworldstats.com/articles/art053.htm://http://www.techweb.com/wire/1605005…cles/art053.htm
I would recommend that you uninstall
utorrent , however that choice is up to you. If you choose to remove these programs, you can do so via
Control Panel >> Add or Remove Programs.
If you wish to keep it, please do not use it until your computer is cleaned.
Download
Rooter.exe to your desktop
Then doubleclick it to start the tool
A Notepad file containing the report will open, also found at %systemdrive%\Rooter.txt. Post that here
Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
Download - ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser
To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)
It's normal after running ATF cleaner that the PC will be slower to boot the first time or two.
Then
Please download
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.
Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program. At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware , then click Finish . If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version. Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan , then click Scan . When the scan is complete, click OK , then Show Results to view the results. Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected . When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location and post the results. Note: If you receive a notice that some of the items couldn't be removed, that they have been added to the delete on reboot list, please reboot (shut down your computer then restart it).
Also "
copy/paste " a new HijackThis log file into this thread.
Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
hi tomk, i did everything you said.
1. i uninstalled the utorrent.
2. run the rooter tool and here is the log

i guess it's running ok.. windows security center still says AVG is off though and firefox still freezes very shortly…
meegii13,
Your Kaspersky report has been modified. I can't help if I don't know what is going on.
oh u meant like how the scan was running..? i couldn't find run as administrator option for firefox but i continued anyway.. actually it didn't seem like it was done 100% complete.. when i last checked on the progress it was 6% or something; but few minutes later it said it was done with the scan.. i don't know what modified the report; all i did was i saved it as txt file and copy pasted it..
meegii13,
Let's try this:
I need you to run the following scan:
Eset Online Scanner
Place a check mark in the box YES, I accept the Terms Of Use Click the Start button. Now click the Install button. Click Start. The scanner engine will initialize and update. Do Not place a check mark in the box beside Remove found threats. Click the Scan button. The scan will now run, please be patient. When the scan finishes click the Details tab. Copy and paste the contents of the C:\ProgramFiles\EsetOnlineScanner\log.txt into your next reply.
very sorry for the long delay.. i had few papers due..
so i run the eset online scanner.. it found nothing infected.. when the scan was finished i didn't see any DETAILS tab.. there was only INFORMATION and BUY buttons.. i thought it is best to click on MORE DETAILS link down there.. but it didn't show me any log.. im' kind of confused now because there is no such folder as C:\ProgramFiles\EsetOnlineScanner\..
meegii13,
Please let me have a new HijackThis log and tell me how it's running.

you mean how my laptop running or eset online scanner..?
meegii13,
I mean your laptop.
okay, i think most of the problems i mentioned earlier are solved now.. most noticeably the firefox's CPU usage fluctuation became moderate; spikes up every few minutes.. but STILL freezes for a second every twenty seconds or so
Windows security center alert saying "AVG anti-virus free (8.0.238) reports that it is turned off" is disappeared.. so is google's automated bot alert.. and download speed tend to fluctuate only when i download large files..
