[Resolved] Help needed, pc hit with trojan and spyware

Hey
So my mothers computer is running really slow so I did a spyware scan and it picked up a ton of spyware however some is still not being removed

However it is still taking forever to bootup and crashes when connected to the internet.
any suggestions what I should do?
Also, svchost.exe always comes up with some sort of error and needs to close
It also appears the system restore points were wiped out also dont know if that is of any value

Hi leet_alex, welcome to the forum.

Please be advised, as I'm still in training, all my replies will have to be approved by a teacher or expert before I can post them. This may cause some delays, but I will do my best to keep them as short as possible.

To make cleaning this machine easier
  • Please do not uninstall/install any programs unless asked to
    It is more difficult when files/programs are appearing in/disappearing from the logs.
  • Please do not run any scans other than those requested
  • Please follow all instructions in the order posted
  • All logs/reports, etc.. must be posted in Notepad. Please ensure that word wrap is unchecked. In notepad click format, uncheck word wrap if it is checked.
  • Do not attach any logs/reports, etc.. unless specifically requested to do so.
  • If you have problems with or do not understand the instructions, Please ask before continuing.
  • Please stay with this thread until given the All Clear. A absence of symptoms does not mean a clean machine.
I will post back soon with additional instructions.

never got around to replying but thanks for the help I just went with formatting the HD, not much was needed to be backed up as it was just a beater computer for my mom to type a few email and play cards and some of my old school work. So thanks in advance sorry I couldnt be a better test subject -alex
