Hi, Peeps!! I am delighted to have found this community and hope to earn my keep someday. It's heartening to find a group who seem to so closely subscribe to my philosophy of the purposeful practice of peaceful, intelligent, generous, genuine, harmonious and responsible citizenship - where the advantaged, healthy, strong and knowledgeable recognize their obligation to assist the disadvantaged, stricken, weak and naive to stay included and thrive. Toward this end, I am hoping to not only receive help with my current problem of fixing my aged Father's computer, so he can continue to share his wisdom and feel viable and valuable to the world but will go on to seek inclusion in your "classroom" section so as to eventually join your team and pass it on! Thank you so much for living and making this resource available to those who might otherwise face indeterminate exclusion from the progress that is our global technical sphere. Maybe a TEDtalk or something could spread the word of these ideals? Just a thought.... And thanks for allowing me to join you!!! =D

Although I did stop by Machievelli's thread to say hello to some of my G2G friends, I thought it only appropriate to post a Hello here as well. I am a Helper at G2G and graduated from their program as well. I am a UNITE member too. I use the handle Biscuithd. The handle is a bit of a nod to the Spin Doctors song from long ago and also, a Biscuithd is a person that is know for making bone headed moves from time to time. As you get to know me, you'll see the handle fits quite well

This is a wonderful place!  Thank you for all the volunteer work you guys/gals do.  I usually get help from the forums at my favourite SimCity fan site but those sites are winding down a bit these days. Most of what I have learned about using a computer has been acquired while downloading and using custom content for SimCity.  

 

I was redirected here from a friend at another game forum.  I have followed the instructions in the Maleware Infected section and will check back again tomorrow.

 

Thanks again for all the wonderful work you do.  I think I will add "WhatTheTech" to my Signature.
