im a newbie, i just wanted to consult computer experts....

im planning to purchase a new processor and im confused between core 2 quad q6600 and core 2 duo e8500. . . I nid some suggestions, by the way im a gamer and i also love trying out applications. . .

which is better? wats the greatest difference between the two or their advantages and disadvantageS?
