I saw Distnoted.exe in my taskmanager and researched it. I found it in two places on my computer under apple mobile devices (i have an ipod touch) and under C:\windows\prefetch. The one under prefetch is called "DISTNOTED.EXE-036B52B9.pf". I know it isn't supposed to be there, any help is much appreciated. here is my Hijack log.

Thank you. I am more interested in the Distnoted.exe not in an apple related folder like the DISTNOTED.EXE-036B52B9.pf i found in C:\windows\prefetch. Could you also have a look at my HT log and tell me what you see that would be much appreciated.

There's a lot of "stuff" windows needs to do in order to load and run whatever software should be running on your machine.

The prefetch folder is simply Windows saving some of that work so it can be re-used later, when you run the same program again. Nothing more.
You can delete files in it if you like, but it'll just slow down your system a little, and they'll probably reappear quickly anyway.

I don't see anything bad in your log.
