Hello ldraugho and welcome to TomCoyote.
Go to Add/Remove programs and remove New.Net. If there is no listing for it, use the uninstaller at newdotnet.com. It requires that an internet connection be active while doing it. HijackThis needs to be unzipped into a permanent folder in order to save backups just in case something goes wrong. Go to Start > My Computer > and double click on C:. Now right click an open area and click New > folder and change the folder name to HJT. Extract HijackThis from the zipped file into this new folder. Scan with HijackThis and post the new log as a reply to this thread. |

lol HijackThis needs to be unzipped into a permanent folder in order to save backups just in case something goes wrong. Go to Start > My Computer > and double click on C:. Now right click an open area and click New > folder and change the folder name to HJT. Extract HijackThis from the zipped file into this new folder. Scan with HijackThis and check the following: R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing O2 - BHO: (no name) - {549B5CA7-4A86-11D7-A4DF-000874180BB3} - (no file) O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file) With all other programs closed, click fix checked. How is the computer running now? Scan with HijackThis and post the new log as a reply to this thread. |

If you post a new log, I can check to make sure you are all clean. Also, I can make some recommendations to stay clean.

You are running incredimail. Now it is not spyware but has a very bad privacy policy. This is up to you whether to keep it or not.
Your new log is clean. Now that everything is fixed, I suggest that you get these programs: Spyware Blaster - Blocks many bad things from installing on your computer. SpywareGuard - Real-time protection from spyware installation attempts ie-spyad - Puts over 5,000 bad URLs into your restricted sites. Update these regularly. You may also want to read "How did I get infected in the first place" Be sure to keep Windows and your Anti-virus updated. |
