Hi guys

Recently I've noticed I can't seem to load up google.com or youtube.com along with any google forums, infact anything google related. This is happening on every browser I try - Chrome, Firefox and Internet Exploer. I first noticed this last week so I did some research and found that I should click on run then type : ipconfig /flushdns - this worked. But now it has happened again and flushing the dns doesn't work. I have run Malwarebytes to see if I'm infected but nothing shows up. I've also deleted all browser data. I seen on another thread from this website to download Combo fix, but i'm getting an error "Combofix cannot be run in compatibility mode. I really don't know what to do can someone shed some light here please!

Thanks in advance

Hi stupot0121, and welcome to the WTT forums.

Sorry to hear about the problems with your computer and loading web pages Google etc.

Firstly, please dont attempt to use ComboFix or run it without supervision from a person trained and experienced in its use. It is a very powerful tool that has many advantages, but like other powerful tools it can produce "undesirable" effects if not used correctly.

These can be very serious and result in the computer becoming unbootable...

To have a malware removal expert check over your computer, please go to our forum here:

http://forums.whatth...howtopic=106388

read the instructions carefully and post the required logs.... make sure you post in the correct forum ( not here in this sub forum as we dont analyse them here....)  just make the one initial post and include your logs in it, copy and paste them into your post (dont attach them unless otherwise requested)

A malware removal specialist will respond to your post as soon as possible, but please be patient as they are in high demand!.

It may be helpful for you to include a link to this topic here so that the malware specialist can see what has been happening to your computer. The malware specialist may ask you to perform other scans that may include using using Combofix but they will provide full instructions. Please just follow their directions.

When your machine has been checked and the malware specialist has finished with it post back here in this topic if you are still having problems with it and one of our members will do their best to assist,

Regards
