my hp 4280 has stopped printing color. i cleaned the head multiple times with the printer utility with no success...i also cleaned the cartridge itself and it looks to be distributing ink. at least the q-tip had ink on it. any suggestions? |

Hi and welcome to the WTT forums
Sorry to hear of the printer problem Check your printer settings...make sure someone has not wanted to print in greyscale and forgotten to set it back to colour. If your settings are OK for colour then try a new cartridge..... if you have touched a Q tip (cotton bud) to the print head then its likely damaged. Use a genuine HP cartridge not a compatible or refilled one! Regards paws |
