smack.gif ok so i have a ge minicam pro. worked fine when i first got it, that is with some choice words and messing with it. now it doesn't work. uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it. now windows xp is saying it isn't an approved xp program/driver and to contact the manufacturer. i've done that twice now and jasco doesn't give an answer. what's going on? any advice??

Try re-installing with this driver 98067 Minicam™ Pro (scroll down page to locate).

It is also possible the actual hardware itself is at fault and apparently Jasco have a two year warranty for their products. No harm checking the status though as follows:

Right click on My Computer >> Properties >> Hardware >> Device Manager >> locate the minicam right click on it and select >> Scan for hardware changes

Also try the cam in a different USB port in-case one is not working correctly.
