Where'd you get the driver for your intel 82865g graphics controller ?
I'd go here:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResu...+Hub+%28GMCH%29

or if that link doesn't get you there, start here:
http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intel865g/

Consider reducing screen resolution (you can always adjust it back higher)
____________________

Check on the Screen Refresh Rate. Most often the standard is 60hz
To high a refresh rate can cause instability and damage your hardware.
Check the manual on your Dell 230301 monitor

QUOTE
How to Change the Screen Refresh Rate of Your Monitor

1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Appearance and Themes, and then click Display.

Alternatively, right-click the desktop, and then click Properties.
2. Click the Settings tab, and then click Advanced.
3. Click the Monitor tab, and then click the screen refresh rate that you want to use.

NOTE:

* The default refresh rate setting is 60 Hertz (HZ); however, your monitor may support a higher setting. Check your manufacturer's documentation for information about the settings that your monitor supports.
* If you use a higher refresh rate, you can reduce the rate that your screen flickers; however, if you specify a refresh rate that is too high for your monitor, your screen may become unusable and your hardware may be damaged.
* Changes to the refresh rate affect all users that log on to the computer.

Consider reducing the Display Resolution.

Hi

It looks to me from the PCPitstop Full Tests list, that some of the recommendations have not been performed.
It is possible that the Full Tests link is to one of your older tests.
I'd appreciate it you would update, even if that means running the Tests again.
Thanks.

The biggest issue that relates directly to your initial or primary question regarding smooth video performance, is that the machine appears to not have the Intel® 82865G Graphics Controller installed.

Please go back to the Intell website and use the "Automatically find graphics drivers" utility
(right-hand column/ first item)

Hopefully that you get you what your machine needs.
