hello,
i like to use this forum,
it help me a lot,
by the way,
i has a compaq laptop that use windows vista
as the operating system,
and i want to change it as windows 7 operating system,
the problem is my laptop has system recovery,
can i do it?

Operating System: Windows 7 Pro, Windows XP Pro and Ubuntu Linux



The best thing to do is run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor. That will tell you if you will have any hardware or software problems.

As for teh Recovery partition, once you install Windows 7, it will not be of any use to you. If you were to use it, you would wipe out Windows 7 and reload Vista.
