A short while ago i had a blue screen with the message Nv4-disp (i think) displayed as a problem, comp tech said graphics card was fine but its not the first blue screen i had and i have had probs trying to play vids off youtube as well. Did a check with Everest as i thought graphics card maybe overheating, I got temps of CPU=54c and GPU=76c Any help would be appreciated Link to Malware topic This post has been edited by oldman960: Oct 31 2009, 12:58 PM

Without further details about your make and model of computer I really can't give specific details.
But, updating the video card drivers per Nvidia's website is probably the first thing you need to try. And, please be more specific what "problems playing you tube videos," means. |

hi sorry about lack of info
i am using Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3 Packard Bell Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.06GHZ 1.00GB Ram Yesterday i tried to do a system restore as when i turned on pc it was black screen saying 'boot from cd' however it would not let me do that or anything else so i left it until this morning and it has started up no probs as yet. i am having trouble with You-Tube vids in that i can not play them. it says i need to install Adobe Flash player which i have on many occasions now but still nothing i have updated adobe reader and i have already updated Nvidia Drivers, i am wondering if it could be a Hard drive issue as when my daughter disconected the digi camera day before yesterday the screen turned black and the pc seemed to go into lock down in that we could not get back on windows and had to manually shut pc down it did exactly the same thing with the Sims game. |

Seeing we are a bunch of volunteers here with busy lives, it is sometimes helpful to post a simple reminder that you need help. Nobody intentionally ignores anyone here. I wish you well. Goodbye.
