Hi,

QUOTE
Whatever problems/viruses are going on, they are affecting the javascript pages ect. While using that Kasper program to scan, it came up with a javascript error and closed. I managed to get the log though before that happened. This javascript thing has been happening on all sorts of webpages for downloading as well as different applications. The error is always different for each though and usually asks me if i want to debug it. I really hope you can help get rid of this stuff! O_O

We'll do our best here to get you running right. My first goal is to make sure you're all clean and updated, then we can address any errors or problems. With PC's that are as infected as yours there is always a possibility of system damage. And you're PC was very infected.

Run HijackThis. (Vista users, please right click on HijackThis.exe and select "Run as an Administrator")
Click Do a System Scan Only. Put a Check in the box on the left side on these:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {02478D38-C3F9-4efb-9B51-7695ECA05670} - (no file)
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {E0E899AB-F487-11D5-8D29-0050BA6940E3} - (no file)

Then close all windows except HijackThis and press Fix checked.

Now reboot.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Time for some housekeeping
  • Click START then RUN
  • Now type Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK. Note the space between the X and the U, it needs to be there.
The above procedure will:
  • Delete the following:
    • ComboFix and its associated files and folders.
    • VundoFix backups, if present
    • The C:\Deckard folder, if present
    • The C:_OtMoveIt folder, if present
  • Reset the clock settings.
  • Hide file extensions, if required.
  • Hide System/Hidden files, if required.
  • Reset System Restore.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Please download JavaRa to your desktop and unzip it to its own folder
  • Run JavaRa.exe, pick the language of your choice and click Select. Then click Remove Older Versions.
  • Accept any prompts.
  • Open JavaRa.exe again and select Search For Updates.
  • Select Update Using Sun Java's Website then click Search and click on the Open Webpage button. Download and install the latest Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version for your computer.

Reboot and post a new HijackThis log. Also let me know how it's running now.

While using javara to remove the older versions, i got an error. The modname was ntdll.dll. I also had problems with the sun download manager. It wouldnt download the java runtime environment, it kept disconnecting and reconnecting then finally failed sad.gif

Here's the latest HJT though

Did you try downloading Java right from the site, not using their download manager?

http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

Click the download button to the right of Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 11

We usually advise removing old versions like you have first but I'm somewhat reluctant to. I'm also wondering if that is the problem, an old corrupt version. If you go to Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel, do you have versions other than update 7? You can uninstall old versions from there also.

Try downloading first, and then if that's successful remove the old versions from programs. If still good, reboot and try installing the latest.

I'm still randomly getting those runtime errors. It's really frustrating.

Can you give me a little more detail. Such as...

What sites you are on or what you're doing.
The exact error you are seeing.
ect.....

EDIT: I also just noticed you are running IE8. How long have you been running it? Did the problems start when you upgraded? I've only used it a little but it is still in beta.
