I was infected with the Antivirus xp 2008 bug yeaterday afternoon. I tried the Smitfraudfix and another solution on the Microsoft TechNet site. I finally found what i thought was a fix by using the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware fix found on teh McAfee site. All things seemed fine and the time on my toolbar return to normal instead of military time.

Sometime today i turned on my laptop and saw that my toolbar time had returned to military time once more. I downloaded the HijackThis sw and my reaults are below. Please suggest next steps to resolve this issue. Thanks for your help!

To set your time format in Windows XP go to the Start Button then select the Control Panel. In the Control Panel select the Regional and Language Options.

Now select the Customize button in the Standards and formats section, notice the legend for the different time formats on the bottom of the window. Now select the Time tab and then click on the drop down menu arrow next to the Time format box.

Choose the h:mm:ss tt select to change to the default windows format. Then click on Apply or OK.
