I got this old keyboard its a gateway2000 keyboard The p/n is 7000596 I did a search at gateway and i couldnt find a keyboard with the p/n number so i went thought each list till i found somthing that looks formally to this keyboard here is the site http://support.gateway.com/s/KBDMouse/7000598/K00598nv.shtml I would try intssaliing the driver and see if they work but none is listed for xp one however says not os dependent i don't know if i could use that one are not but i thought i would come here and ask before i do anything.would it be okay to download one of those drivers and see if the top keys would work???. the rest of the keyboard works but not the top volume and cd keys any help is greatly aprecaited




Ps forry for the bad grammar spelling im sorry for most words i use spell checker but it aint working right

Im running windows xp home edition sp2
Dell home desktop pc dimension 2100

Looks like you're out of luck for that keyboard. There are no XP or W2000 drivers available that I can find. You can buy new ones for $10 to $20. For instance this one on NewEgg.com for $15: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...soft-_-23109029
