I am running xp pro service pack 3 on an asus m2n32-sli wireles mother board. Windows explorer keeps opening up to the dvd drive folderwhen there is no disk in the player. This problem does not happen when a disk is in the drive.

Put a disk in the drive and click on it to make sure it is read. Then go to C: drive and click on that to open C. Then pull disk from the DVD and see if you are still having problems.
Did you recently install something from the DVD? |
