Hi. I have a 3D Max 9. When i double click the installation file and follow the instructions, during the installation process a box prompted "You have a running program monitor.exe. Pls close the program". But i was not running any other programs at that time. As a result i was not able to continue the installation.

Pls help. I need to install 3d Max 9 badly.

Thanks.

Hidayah,

if you want to KILL that running program, press and hold-down the CTRL, ALT & DEL keys at the same time. This will bring up the Windows Task Manager.
Under Image Name in the Processes tab, you should be able to select "Moniter.exe", the click the "End Process" button at the bottom. This should allow you to Install 3D Max 9.

Hope this helps.

- John
