Hi All....

What are your thoughts on using more RAM than the recommended amount?
For instance, Toshiba specs says that MAX RAM for my laptop would be 2GB of RAM.

(Memory
•Configured with 1024MB PC5300 DDR2 SDRAM (both memory slots may be occupied). Maximum capacity 2048MB)

I have two slots for memory, what would happen if I were to use 2 sticks of RAM, each being 2GB each, giving me a total of 4GB of memory?

Thanks for your input....

Paul

Hi,
It would be a bit of a waste of money.....
If your motherboard can handle a maximum of 2GB then it would not be wise to put in any more.
Win XP generally works very well with 2 GB
