I need to know how to use linux through a usb drive or on my desktop cuz i can't burn cds and i want to use a live cd version i need it to be under 60 mb, help would be much appreciated.

first-- i have never booted any OS off of a usb drive. its possible but more complicated than booting from cd. some references:

Some Linux distros will provide you with tools to prepare a USB Flash Drive as a bootable device. I'm not entirely sure, but I think DSL http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&ct=res&...SPdpFNyBSomLjLA comes with such a tool. I haven't really tried it though.
