Right now, it doesn't do this, but sometimes, there is1-3 second delay between when I type something and when it actually types on the screen -- typically in email and when I'm on the web. Talked with my isp provider and they said it is not an issue with the connection. So i guess the most frustrating thing now is waiting for the computer to start up- and 3-4 minutes seems a long time to me, It did not used to be this way. It has slowly gottne slower over time. But, I have done all the basic recommended things. So, I'm thinking it may have something to do with these users that I can disable, but have been unable to delete from the computer. thanks again for your help.

I've rebooted my computer twice and it is taking a while to open still, 3-4 minutes. But, maybe this will change after a few more boots? So, the keyboard issue seems to have gone away -- typing then waiting for words to appear. I'm open to other suggestions you have.
