Hi Funky Pool,
Your pm facility is disabled (as a new member) until you have completed satisfactorily 10 -15 posts and then, hopefully, it will be turmed on automatically.

That's good news that you have applied to join the classroom, all the admins and teachers are very busy people but they will get to your application as soon as they can.
So although it is tough waiting, try and wait for a while longer, it should not be too long before you get a response.

If after a week or so you still havn't received a response then post back here and I'll see what I can do to help

Oh I'll be able to survive 2 more days, yes... but I was just wondering why is taking so much time when admins are online... yes I did, because when I try to apply again I get a Board Message that I have already applieda and am waiting for an admin to confirm.
I'm impatient, and I want to appologise again for that biggrin.gif
It's just that this means a lot to me.

Hi FP
Yes I do understand...and it is difficult to remain patient...however I do know the admins and teachers are very busy at the moment and as they all have "real jobs" to do and families to look after, their time is very precious.

Just while you are waiting it would be wise to have a look at a few of the HJT logs that have been posted ( just look at them, please dont' reply to them) and determine which entries you feel are legitimate and which ones are questionable......if you fire up your favourite search engine you will be able to find out a lot of information about the ones you think are questionable or definitely bad, you can then compare your own findings with those of the expert who has responded. It's a good way of getting a feel for the HJT logs whilst you are waiting.
Regards

Hi FunkyPool,

And welcome to WTT Forums.

Being patient is not an easy thing, especially in these days of lightning fast instant world wide communication.

Your application to and interest in Malware Removal Classroom is appreciated.

Here's some interesting information that may increase your desire to be part of Classroom, while at the same time give you a fresh perspective on why the process is taking the time that it has.

WTT Classroom is staffed by "world-class" experts in the field of Malware Removal.
WTT Classroom was the "first" online classroom to make this type of training available (known as TomCoyote at the time)

Several Classroom Teachers at WTT Classroom have been recognized by Microsoft as "Most Valuable Profession" in the field of Security and Malware cure.

Microsoft is presently holding their worldwide Summit Meeting of MVP's in Seattle, Washington, where experts from around the world are meeting to discuss, study and present seminars relative to their fields of expertise.

For the above reason, many of our top Teachers and Malware Fighters are presently "away".

You will see them apparently "logged-in" at WTT and in the Classroom from time to time even now.
That is because these dedicated expert volunteers exercise great responsibility in following the work in Classroom and in Malware Removal, even when they are otherwise occupied.

Can you imagine hundreds of cellphones, laptops and blackberries in the hands of expert volunteers, checking in at their Home Forums to assure the continuity of work in progress?
I can only imagine how difficult that must be with the tiny screen display and tiny key-pads.... but they are doing it! thumbup.gif

Application to Classroom can ordinarily be processed in approximately one week, but occasionally the process takes longer.
At this present time, the additional coincidence of the "Summit" meeting may be stretching the processing time.

I have contacted the appropriate Administrators to bring your interest to their attention.
I am confident that they will do their best to reply to you when time allows.
But I would ask that you invoke an additional level of "patience" in consideration of the present circumstances.

Thanks for your interest in Classroom.
I hope you will join all the rest of WTT Forum in wishing the MVP recipients a hardy Congratulations and Job Well Done!

Best Regards
Doug
