Hey everyone. I've got a HP Pavilion Slimline s3713w Desktop PC, and I'm wanting to upgrade the graphic card. Since it's a slimline pc I'm a little confused on which card I need to get and how big I can go.

Here is the link for my product specifications. Any help would be great.

Thanks
Jeremy

3DMark Score 3195 3DMarks

SM 2.0 Score 1165
SM 3.0 Score 1295
CPU Score 1640

So if you go by that software I have a pretty low end computer.

It is on the lower end of their scale but 3DMark06 is used by the best builders out there.

Some guys tweak the heck out of their systems just to get top scores. The high end is very high.

I'd say your scores were decent and in line with your system. Certainly an improvement over the on board chip you had.

How did you like the Canyon Flight? I love just watching that over and over. biggrin.gif

Yes. It is amazing. I wish it were a full game. I actually paid for the full version of 3DMark06 and you can run without testing just to watch. popcorn.gif

hello ABinBoston

It appears from post #69, that the original poster may have selected this card.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=R...mp;aq=f&oq=
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814102799

Lots of good hard work in this Topic Thread, and tons of good information.

The difficulty faced by another user (yourself AbinBoston) is assuring that your machine is exactly of the same configuration as the one with recommendations posted.

You can take a chance on this work that is specific to this users machine....

Or start a new Topic to review and select for your own specific machine.

Best Regards
