Those logs are complete copies of your entire Event Viewer and as such are very difficult to read. Can you look at your Event Viewer and find Red X errors that occurred at 21:09 under the System tab? These are the only errors that might be telling in this case. If you do see any such errors you can right click on the particular line and then choose properties which will bring up a box like the image I posted. Using the clipboard icon you can copy and paste individual errors into notepad then post back here. Also due to your attachment space you can delete the above logs 1 & 2. |

New logs. There were a few of the same spread over a few minutes. I have posted a more readable version in the next post.

Okay, good. We see this:
Event Type: Error Event Source: iegdmini Event Category: None Event ID: 1 Date: 19/04/2009 Time: 21:09:29 User: N/A Computer: STANSLAPTOP Description: The description for Event ID ( 1 ) in Source ( iegdmini ) cannot be found. The others are Safe Mode errors/warnings. At this point in time I must step away from my office for a couple hours but will try to investigate that error when I return. |

Everything appears to point to your graphics driver.
http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/...p;fileid=170751 Check in the Device Manager under Display adapters: what is listed there? Also in the Device Manager are there any listings under: Other Devices? You can also run dxdiag from start Run... and check under the display tab for both your device and the driver version. Also check from the Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs: do you have any listing here for Intel drivers? If not how about Dell drivers? My point here would be to uninstall any present display drivers then try to reinstall the Dell driver again. Look forward to hearing from you. |

Thanks for the update scudo and sorry for the time lapse. I had to work the day job full time today and just got home.
Anyway let us know how it goes if you get a chance. I'd be interested in knowing what the fix was. |

Update,
Apparently it was the graphics driver that was causing the issues. Working fine now. |
