I would be most grateful for some advice concerning my Toshiba Satellite 1400 which seems to be running increasingly slower despite a weekly registry cleaning routine of : PC Pitstop Optimize 2, One-Click-Optimizer, Registry Mechanic, jv16 PowerTools 2009 Registry Cleaner, RegistryBooster 2009, followed by JKDefrag.

Of 18.6 GB 6.48GB is free. At purchase 30-10-2002 I doubled Ram to 256MB.

Task Manager shows while idle: Paged Memory at 80% of Total. CPU Usage hovers around 5% and PF Usage sits at 637MB, Handles 11341, Threads 535 , Processes: 47 Commit Charge 653192K / 804596K Peak 751960 - if this is of any use.

Below is the logfile which I hope will be helpful

Attached File  hjtlog.txt ( 9.16K ) Number of downloads: 44

Thanking you in anticipation,

Warren Boyes
