Help please. I have a new Lenovo Thinkpad less than 2 weeks old with a fingerprint scanner.

The scanner worked for awhile but has been inop for two or three days now. I think installation of some new apps screwed up some settings but the settings I can find to reset have not helped. I tried uninstall and reinstall of the fingerprint software.

I am attaching( I hope) two error messages that appear. Perhaps someone with Lenovo fingerprint expertise could give me some suggestions. I hate to do a rollback if I can avoid one.
