Hi Candice
Thank you for the kind words. And its not only you who have to say thanks. I believe I can speak for the most, if not all, that helping out people in need means something for us, otherwise I don't believe I (we) would be doing this at all. That said, I'm very glad we could be of assistance, and most likely will be again. I'm thinking of your camera here someone with the right knowledge will try to assist. QUOTE and I wish there was some way to show my appreciation besides writing this stupid blurb..... You already have...! Best wishes for a bright future Regards Abydos Ps: Do you still have that friend in Scandinavia? I mean, its possible to find that person if you have lost contact. Just a thought on my behalf. You're more than welcome to write me a personal message (PM) if you need guidance on how to accomplish that. |

That kind of "stupid blurb" beats any donation hands down...
I'm gonna be feeling like this for the rest of the day ----> Cheers |

jeesh....you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i love each and every one of you!!!! how grrrrrrrrreat would it be, all of us in a nice cozy spot somewhere, fire-lit...with the snow outside blizzarding 'round us (as it is doing right now outside my window panes)...... we in that xenial state. what is xenia you ask? it is that wondrous magical place where there is give and take, a rhythmical pulsant flow 'tween us, the cross-pollination (if you don't mind the allegory) of thoughts, ideas, from one to another....i spouting my poetry, you spouting your tech wisdoms.... a new organism is formed, a totally unique seed has been born...which would just keep growing until the most beautiful and new species of flower is born..... the combination of us all - a rare and delicious blend of minds who enjoy and celebrate our friendship...... that would be wonderful...but i suppose we shall have to make due with this little spot of heaven here on earth.... yes, this cyber - suspended air an ether light and luminous to find a home for this brief moment amid the stars....... or...........................we could always just vow to meet someplace warm... like Barcelona... and get drunk on the sun and wine!!! Candice,
QUOTE or...........................we could always just vow to meet someplace warm... like Barcelona... and get drunk on the sun and wine!!! Yes, that would be good, and you can do all those things here in Australia too..... Troy is already here, so now you need to make the effort, then there will be three. I've got the wine and the sun, so no need to bring your own. Best and cheers, |

Good Girl Canidice,
You not exactly uninformed about Australia (OZ) either. Unusual from your part of the world, most don't even know we exist down here. By the way, kangeroos don't deliver the mail as most over your way think! Read this link, Post's # 6 & 10. Turn your sound up before clicking on the links. Take care and all the best to you. kind regards, |

I sure could have used one as a boy, when my mother gave us children a "gentle" spank for the mischiefs we boys could dream up Ohhh, and AYE of course Tallin...No mail-delivering Kangeroo's a Kangeroo try deliver the sunday mail, it would look like something of a cross between a large mouse and a elephant belly full of gas Abydos |

Andre Rieu !!!!!!!!!! How'd ya know my longest running fantasy is to waltz, waltz, waltz up and down the aisle at a Andre Rieu concert!!!!!!!!!! Have never had a good waltz, not once in my life..... I am planning on getting to Vienna too.... if only to place a rose on Beethoven's grave...... I also have an abiding love of Andrea Botticelli now that Luciano has passed on (I sort of sang with Luciano ....I do tell everyone we sang together...but of course it was me and a thousand other people at a concert at the Hartford Civic Center back in the 1990's..... but I was the only one who really knew ALL the words to "Libiamo" when Pavarotti invited the audience to sing with him......I was seated in the hoi polloi section (long story how I got there mid diamonds, minks and tuxes...but those rich folk are mere wanna be pretenders of opera love..... I was the only one who jumped up and joined in... and all the people way way back in the cheapo seats were lustily singing too...but Luciano and I ...our eyes locked and we both reached out our arms to each other... I was only 10 rows back, it was just US in that moment!!!!! and not one of those rich big wigs got that thrill...let me tell you, it was magic!!!!
Abydos...how are you sweetie??? I forgot to reply to you.... I do have all kinds of connections to follow up with Knut.... he actually is an author in Norway, probably famous for all I know..... I keep in touch with some of my classmates, infrequently....but I could easily get a hold of Knut...... him being a professional writer, I think I am just a bit intimidated..... I have a long running love of Norwegian poetry too, thanks to my life long love affair with Robert Bly and Tomas Transtrømer......I have been blessed to spend weekends with Bly many times....and he actually read poems just to me at a huge poetry event a couple of years ago....i'm his biggest fan in North America.... he likes me for my passionate enthusiasm and panache - I just let my enthusiasm ooooooze out of every pore of me, I'm just odd like that, I love enjoying life, rarely have a chance to...so when I can, I go for it...... I let myself pour out..... my brain, my heart, my soul.....i love lying open, splayed out, all the colors of me running together...and outside the lines..... I call it my sloppy charisma. You MUST waltz with me Tallin!!!!!!! and yes, of course I know tons about your neck of woods, I love it, I went bonkers during the Sydney Olympics, reading voraciously everything I could get my hands on..... have a few poet friends from there too!!!!
