First, thank you to the Forum creator and members for being here!
My daughter's laptop had a major problem, and thanx to oldman960 the laptop is running like new. Additionally, my daughter's laptop would not allow me to download anything to help disinfect it, so I had to use a thumb drive and transfer the tools that way.  Once my daughter's laptop was clean, oldman960 helped me further by helping me to ensure that my own laptop and the thumb drive I'd used between the two laptops were free of any unwanted pests. Kudos to all of you, and thanx again!
