Task Manager only remains on screen for a few seconds when using "ctrl+alt+del" keys.
Can you please advise how to resolve this problem for me.

Delete all of the following noted (in red) file(s)/FOLDER(s) you can find:

c:\windows\system32\winupdats.exe <--- file

Some malware files may be "hidden".
Be sure to show hidden files when looking for these file(s) and/or folder(s).

Reboot in normal mode.

• First close any other programs you have running as this will require a reboot
• Double click NoLop.exe to run it
• Now click the button labelled "Search and Destroy"
  <<your computer will now be scanned for infected files>>
• When scanning is finished you will be prompted to reboot only if infected, Click OK
• Now click the "REBOOT" Button.
• A Message should popup from NoLop. If not, double click the program again and it will finish.

Please Post the contents of C:\NoLop.log along with a new HijackThis! log

The Task Manager, for some obscure reason, is now working normally.
I installed and ran a copy of "ATF Cleaner" which recovered a large 'chunk' of free

space for me. After this, 'Taskmgr' was resurrected.
As this has happened before carrying out you recommendations what do you advise.

Leave it alone or carry on with what you have advised ?
