System Investigator by Olrik (SINO) is a tool designed to make the life of the Tech helper on various forums easier. It is a simple Graphical User Interface that allows you to qucikly collect a lot of information about your computer then post it to a Windows help forum in a format that is easy to read and understand (BBCode format).

As you can see, SINO can collect a lot of data. SINO will also connect to the Artelos.com server if a network connection is available, to see if you are running the latest version. If not, use the same link that is shown below to download the latest version.

Follow these instruction to download and use SINO:

Please download SINO by Artellos.
  • Save SINO to a place you can remember and run SINO.exe. (If you downloaded the ZIP version you will need to extract it first)
  • Check the Select All box
  • Once checked, click on the Run Scan! button and wait for the program to finish the scan.
  • A notepad window will pop up. Please copy all of the content of the Notepad window into your next reply here.
SINO also has an option called BBCode that will make the information produced by the tool easier to read when you post it on a forum like WhatTheTech.

Note: If you try to interact with the program once it’s started scanning it might appear to hang. The scan however will continue.
