I have Norton 360 which has its own registry scanning/cleaning file. Would reg seeker conflict with it?

I want to see if it will help me fix a problem with a program I have installed that keeps saying it is missing a .dll file.

Thanks!

Registry Seeking/Modifying programs are almost always recommended against, but for a single issue, it should be useful, as long as "reg seeker" is a safe application.
As long as Norton 360 scanning at the same time as "reg seeker", it shouldn't interfere, but try to make sure you are only fixing your specific issue.
It is more likely to be better for you if you just reinstall the program you are having problems with, as it will most likely replace the missing DLL file, though.
Hope this helps.

What d3m0l1sh3r said. thumbup.gif

Regseeker does not replace .dll files, nor replace missing or corrupted registry files.
Instead if it find something not working or not relating properly, it is more likely to remove even more. Not good.

If you know what application is not functioning, uninstall it and reinstall it.

If you only know that a specific .dll file is missing, use SFC /scannow (Windows File Protection System File Checker) to identify and replace the missing file.

Or if that does not work tell us the exact name of the .dll file and any other Error information you may receive.
From that we can try to compose a fix for you.

Best Regards
