I'm not sure if this would be the place to post this kind of advice but it is very relevant to keep in mind when building a new system.

Nvidia Network Access Manager
This program comes bundled with some versions of the aBit and ASUS motherboards and is a fair but failed attempt at network security due to compromised overall system stability reasons. Complications include but are not limited to: BSOD (Blue screen) with various Stop Error codes, random failed CRC checks on files larger than 100-200 KB (corrupted file downloads), corrupted media file downloads, corrupted streaming flash media (YouTube, Facebook, Google, Etc...). The most common indicator of the NNAS causing system instability is the presence of most to all of these issues, and in all case, very noticeable.

::WARNING::
The NNAS does a fair job at preventing any undesirable content from entering your computer, upon removal it is best to immediately replace it with another form of protection as removing it will leave your system completely undefended against unwanted content.

Thankyou very much for the information.

I am betting many people dont realize they may have a "hidden" firewall courtesy of NIVIDA that messes with all sorts of functions on the network. You wouldnt even think of looking for it when chasing down issues.

Good to know you can get the Drivers for the NIC and dispense with the Network Access Manager.
