I work from home for a software company, and my M-I-L decided she would download games on my computer a few months ago. Ever since then, my computer has been driving me crazy. I did my best to remove all traces of the games, and my general performance on the computer seems pretty good. My problem is that my fan turns on all the time like it's working really hard and I can't stand it!
I also recently got a personalized cyber attack from a foreign country. Don't ask. ) A Sr. engineer with Microsoft helped me with it, and said since my updates were current, I would most likely not have been affected.
Oh yeah, the whole reason I a started searching today is because I was using Dreamweaver, and can't insert photos. I'm getting an error that says " unable to launch %systemroot%\system32\rundll.exe please make sure that this application exists, and you have enough memory to run it"
I read through some threads, and ran some of the utilities recommended.
