I'm afraid I don't have much information as to what happened initially to the computer. Traci (My step-daughter) said she googled for an unzipping program and went to a Site that came up on the Google results page - ( she forgets the name of the Site...grr! )

At any rate, she said that all sorts of IE windows began opening and and several unfamiliar icons appeared on her desktop. Her husband downloaded Reg Mechanic and Spydoctor. He scanned and thought he'd fixed the problem, but her IE window is still far too slow to open. I'm sorry, but that's all I've got as to the beginning the problem.

I uninstalled Norton Antivirus/Firewall since they now have Spydoctor installed. Immediately after the uninstall I ran HijackThis. Here is the log. Does anyone see anything that could be a potential problem?? Any thoughts at all?
