Nothing Opens

New Member Group: New Member Posts: 1 Joined: 2-August 08 Member No.: 80,725 Operating System: Windows XP	Just a few hours ago, my computer quit letting me open things up. One second I could, the next second I wasn't able to anymore. It won't let me open new tabs in internet explorer, my computer, or anything else. I would run a virus scan but that won't open either. I'm scared of shutting down my computer to see if it helps in fear off making the problem worse. I'm still able to access the internet through the tabs I have open but other then that I can't get anywhere. Thanks for any help you might have. edit- sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forum.
