You're welcome. Looks like ComboFix took care of the problem.
1. Close any open browsers. 2. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix. 3. Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it: QUOTE File:: c:\windows\system32\214DDB9A7C.sys Save this as CFScript.txt, in the same location as ComboFix.exe Refering to the picture above, drag CFScript into ComboFix.exe When finished, it shall produce a log for you at C:\ComboFix.txt which I will require in your next reply. |

Perfectly. I am pretty sure ComboFix got rid of the annoying malware. I appreciate the help you provided. I just wanted to know if I can now get rid of all the tools I installed during the last couple of weeks.

Hi rpachon, You're welcome.
Your log looks clean, Great Job Follow these steps to uninstall Combofix and tools used in the removal of malware
Now for some cleanup.. Please download OTC and save it to Desktop.
Set a New Restore Point to prevent possible reinfection from an old one. Some of the malware you picked up could have been saved in System Restore. Since System Restore is a protected directory, your tools can not access it to delete these bad files which sometimes can reinfect your system. Setting a new restore point AFTER cleaning your system will help prevent this and enable your computer to "roll-back" to a clean working state. The easiest and safest way to do this is:
here are some additional utilities that will enhance your safety
