Hello,

I am actually a pilates and aerobics instructor, and new to the forums and all, straight from Northern Virginia! I am glad to be here- a bit frazzled and confused, but glad.

I stumbled on this forum because I have some pretty bad computer problems. I'm not sure what's up, but hopefully, I'll hear from someone who might be able to help and "dumb down that answer" for lack of a better description! pullhair.gif

It's my birthday next week, so hopefully, I'll have an answer as my birthday gift! Thanks!

D Ross

Yay for off-topicness! weee.gif

You are certainly part of the "gang" now here at WTT... It's a general rule of thumb - if a thread isn't taken "off-topic" (i.e. banter takes the original topic off-track), then it dies pretty quickly and gets boring.

DragonMaster Jay, you have pointed out that which I haven't updated! I'll update my information here on the forums so that everyone knows what I actually am running...

Ahhhhhhh....

Validation... that's a beautiful thing!

Thanks for the welcome!

Fixed now, this is actually what I am running. I gave Ubuntu the boot a long time ago!

Why did you give Ubuntu the boot?

welcome.gif dross1149,

Looks like you have started your Malware Removal proceedures with Essexboy, that is a vital step to having a computer running much smoother.

Good luck with your tech side of things, there is so much to be learned at WhattheTech, simply by ready threw other threads and watching how the Tech team deals with different problems.

Ubuntu is pretty cool... but it's just such a waste of time trying to get stuff to work (like drivers)

Happy birthday biggrin.gif

And if Essexboy is helping you, then you seriously have one of the masters of the game giving you instruction. Heed wisely. thumbup.gif
