Hello everyone! I have a PC that is running like a junk atm. Here is the original thread in the welcome forums with links to the PC Pitstop results and replies from Doug. He suggested I move the thread here in the hopes that some of you may help me resolve these issues and make the PC work more efficiently. Any help is greatly appreciated. My current mood is pullhair.gif

Here is the link to the original thread. http://forums.whatthetech.com/Hello_everyo...tml#entry566660

Right now the PC is experiencing heavy CPU Usage beyond expected.

Here is a PC Pitstop scan of my PC currently. http://www.pcpitstop.com/betapit/sec.asp?conid=22244124

I do occassionally get a BSoD error when I try to run any registry checker there error is as follows...

REGISTRY ERROR

Stop: 0x00000051 (0x00000004, 0x00000001, 0xE303BA28, 0x000801E0)

I think that is a seperate issue from the lagging PC but I'd appreciate help with both...especially the lag...Also my internet keeps dropping out on me intermittenly. I need to refresh the connection on my D-link DWA 552 Ethernet adapter. I think that could be the reason for the low performance. If there's any other tests I can run please advise. Thank you in advance for your reply.

I recently downloaded Process Explorer to find a little more detail and my CPU usage is mostly as follows:
CPU - 35%
Hardware Interupts - 15%
Deferrerd Procedure Calls - 40-50% typically
There are a few other processes taking up small amounts that equal up to 100%.....I hope that helps a little more for you to better get a grasp on this PC.

Cheers
