We just got a new computer with Vista a few weeks ago, and are already having problems with Works. Whenever I try to copy and paste into a Works doc it tells me that Works is not "Work"ing and that I need to close the program.

Help!!!!

There appear to be conflicts depending upon which version of MS Works you are using.

The latest appears to be MS Works version 9 and Works SE 9.

Even with the latest version, there may be conflicts when running Vista and when attempting to share documents and spreadsheets between machines running XP and Vista, particularly if Office 2007 is involved.

You may benefit from looking at the various "converters" here:

I ended up calling tech support for help and ended up going back to an earlier restore point. It appears the problem was with an MS update that my computer didn't like.

Thanks for your help!
