I recently migrated from MS OE 6.0 to MS Outlook 2003 (finally)! Two questions, please: how do I send an email with an RSVP setting, i.e., the receiver is requested to acknowledge receipt, and what happened to my autocomplete, i.e., when I begin to type a to: i ought to complete the name? Oh yeah, just thought of this; is my address bokk different than my MS Outlook contact list?

TY

Hi, You can implement tracking in MSO Outlook by going to:
Tools>Options>Email Options>Tracking Options>Read/Receipt Delivery etc:

Its fine to use this for an individual email that you are particularly concerned to track.....but you run the risk of doubling the load on the email servers and creating great annoyance to recipients if you have it switched on permanently........(There are some folks who will automatically delete all emails unread that have a read request included.....)

If you export your OE adress book to a file as a comma separated value file (CSV) then its easy to import into MSO Outlook (File>Import and the auto complete should then kick in
Regards

It will, but that list is compiled AS YOU SEND e-mails to them. So you are starting-over in that regard. You will have to send an e-mail to someone first before it can "remember" that you have done so previously.

yes, but when you first launched 2003 and it detected an OLE identity, it should have offered to you to "import" those settings. If you said "yes" to that, then the address book was imported, otherwise when you goto 'contacts' it would be completely empty.

hope that helps !
