My laptop turns on with black screen. Back then it would give me a blue screen with the graphic card driver and some time when I turn it on the screen is blank(black). To resolved this I would slightly hit the back of the graphic card ports and it would work. The other day I turn it on, the screen changes colors for a few second after that it went completely black to now.

WHEN I TURN ON THE LAPTOP....

1. I see the screen flash for a quick second ( I guess this indicates that the screen is working.) (CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG).
2. I can hear the "FANS" and the "Hard Drive" running BUT the HDD light indicator is not flashing.

3. I HAVE DONE SYSTEM ELIMINATION. STILL TURN ON WITH THE BLACK SCREEN.

WHAT IS CAUSING THIS PROBLEM? HARDWARE?

PLEASE HELP!!!
