no new programs were installed that I can see, but one of my kids PC will not open IE7. Other browsers work fine.
other communication software are OK like messenger.

tried installing IE8 with same results,
tried sfc /scnannow, no results

ran all virus, malware software...

right as it starts, get a message that there is an error, and then it closes

anyone knows what this could be?

That was it, found that "snag it" add-on was causing it.

reinstalled it and it is ok now, never had a prob with snag it in the past, home or office???

anyway , all is good,
