How to use a picture of your choice as the Desktop background

This only works with Windows XP.
  • First, locate the picture you want and copy it to My Documents\My Pictures
  • Open Display Properties in Control Panel
  • Click on the Desktop tab
  • Click on the Browse button
  • Make sure the Look in field is set to My Pictures
  • Select the picture you want to use for the Desktop background.
  • Click the Open button
  • Click Apply then OK

Vista users: Follow instructions here: http://www.askdavetaylor.com/change_deskto...ture_vista.html
