Hi all,
I wanted to get some input on an issue I seem to have.
1st here's a link for PCPitstop:

http://www.pcpitstop.com/techexpress.asp?id=U1T8TWT76CGSP0RG

I know your still in the dark as to the problem, Well pull up a seat I think you're about to get hit with a wall of
text. I will try and keep it as short as I can.

In the beginning... smile.gif just teasing, but to start out, this system had a virus well it turned out to be a couple of virus's with the help of the great folks at WTT I got the all clear on the system. I became aware of the virus's because of another issue. A game my son, daughter and I play was going thru an update, the updater was responding. I checked and researched the causes. While checking that when I found the virus's. The orginal problem is still there/here.

I have managed to download all the updates, I got past that problem. Now the game itself won't launch. Reviewing the tech forum for the game I have followed everything they suggested and followed everything in troubleshooting with no change.

The client side of the game requires a specific port which I have opened to this PC from the router. At the moment I have no antivirus, no firewall (windows f/w running) and no other programs running in the background.
Pasted below is the hijackthis log file:
EDITED by paws, HJT log removed and uplifted as an attachmentAttached File  HJT.txt ( 3.22K ) Number of downloads: 3

Very little shows in HJT log, a few things I could use some help in researching, Links to sites I can lookup would be great.
I don't want to have HJT "fix" anything without 1st being sure I'm not going to do any damage.
THe 02-BHO's have some enterys I thought could/should be removed. Also the 09's I don't use MSN or should say I have used it in ages. I'm not sure what flipbook is.
I do know what bitdefender is, and a question I had about that, getting back to the game logon issue, is could that or anything else that anyone see be stopping the game server from establishing a connection to the game client.
I have also save a trwacert to the game server, and a log of running programs using msinfo32. I pretty stuck. The game does still work from a differnt computer on a different network. I did try and "update" another PC on the home network but it couldn't download the pathes.
Could the ISP have change policies and just happened to be at the same time I was having all the other problems?
Or anything anyone can think of?
