Hello WhatTheTech,

I don't know if this is the right section for this topic, if it isn't please forgive me. Ive been having some problems with my Drivers lately and its been giving my a blue screen with the error message:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I don't know what this means and I was pointed here by Malware Removal and was told I could get help here. I was going to update my drivers and all that but thought id make sure I was doing everything right by asking here.

Any help is appreciated

Thank you.

Most errors are NVIDIA Network with also an McAfee with a few generic Windows faults.

What is the make and model of your computer and or motherboard?

I assume it is an NVIDIA chipset.

Do you have the driver CD?

The manufacturer should have all your drivers.

I'd suggest re-loading the chip set drivers.

What is the make and model of your computer and or motherboard?

Is it a Dell Dimension 1234? Or an HP Pavilion 1234? etc.

If you do not know run Belarc:

Just to verify this is a custom built computer? Yes?

It is not a manufactured computer? Dell; HP; etc.

If so click the "Others" here and load the chipset drivers for XP 32 bit:

I bought it at a place called PC Laptops, im not sure if if its "custom built" or not.

When u say load do you mean download the chipset drivers for XP 32 bit? Also there is no 32bit, theres a 64 bit though. Can you clarify which one you want me to download??

Well first off we need to see if that driver resolves your issues.

Let us know.

I downloaded the drivers yesterday and tested it and I got another error with a blue screen that says:

Caused by HDAuDBus.sys

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Thats what the error says.

But the updated drivers seem to have fixed one of the other errors I was getting while trying to run a program.

EDIT: Another error just popped up saying:

NVETFD.SYS

Could not copy memory to Read only memory.
