New Member Group: New Member Posts: 1 Joined: 23-March 05 Member No.: 28,490 Operating System: XP Home	I have a new Averatec 6110 laptop. The disk drive is being written to all the time (once per second). This is affecting the use of my mouse, etc. as it is slowing things down to a crawl. Spybot and Adaware have not found any problems. I have Norton SystemWorks 2005 and it hasn't found anything yet either. This is driving me crazy so any help is appreciated. I've disabled MS Messenger. Thanks, Kirk Las Vegas
