Need assistance with troubleshooting this annoying warning message.
It seems to appear after using 'Temp File Cleaner' by OldTimer, Ccleaner by Piriform and ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
I have no doubt that a file or files are being deleted, I just can't work out why they aren't staying on my machine if they are required.
The machine requires that I leave my Dell Resource CD in the drive, so when this message appears I click OK and everything appears to be fine.

Attached File  Dell_Resource_CD.JPG ( 20.86K ) Number of downloads: 12

Many thanks in advance. smile.gif

Is McAfee Site Advisor working correctly on your machine when browsing?

Do you wish to use McAfee Site Advisor?
Do you wish to be rid of McAfee Site Advisor?

I actually do not recognize what the problem is, or even if there is a problem.

Seems to me that Ztruker's instructions (and your own good research) have already fixt your machine.

p.s. I use WOT (Web of Trust) rather than McAfee Site Advisor, but have no strong opinion one way or another.

If you want McAfee Site Advisor, and it's not working... the ole uninstall McAfee Site Advisor via Add/Remove and reinstall McAfee Site Advisor, would seem to be sensible.
