The first step to take before attacking the "problem" that you describe, is to backup your Microsoft Money File
Have a look here: http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/94.aspx __________- After performing the above to make a secure backup copy of your budget data, you can more freely/confidently work on the problem without fear of loosing your important data if your problem-solving work creates its own problems. More resources for backup and restore of MS Money File, here: http://www.google.com/search?q=MS+Money+ba...lient=firefox-a |

It may also be to your advantage to print out a paper copy of your work before working on any fixes. |

Hi....thanks for your help. I do believe I have backed up My Money now so that is a good thing. The links that have been provided already are ones that I have previously visited, and at this point I can't seem to figure them out to fix my problem. Some of them appear to mention a "phantom budget bug" which I am guessing may be what I am describing. I downloaded one, but didn't appear to do anything. I don't know if this is a problem which can't be fixed ....but I thought I would ask here. Thanks again. Dan

Dan,
Thanks for replying, If amongst the links that we have explored, there is an MS Money user Forum, that may be your best source. There's a chance that one of our Techs will be familiar with your specific problem. I'll ask around Best Regards. |
